Photographic Competition "Focus on Predators"

Department of Creative Programs of the Moscow Zoo holds photo contest "Focus on Predators" dedicated to the celebration of Day of Moscow.

All predators are stunning in their beauty and grace.  But in the wild the carnivore family representatives are not so easy to see.  So, WE OFFER YOU – COME TO THE ZOO, TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR FAVOURITE PREDATORS AND BRING THE PICTURES TO THE COPMPRTITION.  You have the opportunity to focus on your favorite animals. Lions and tigers, lynxes and cheetahs and snow leopards, as well as brown, Himalayan and spectacled bears are waiting for you!  Send us your pictures of our residents for the contest.

The best works will be presented at the exhibition hall of the Main Entrance to the zoo on September the 4th, on the Day of Moscow.  The winners will receive awards from the Moscow Zoo.  Grand Prize – an annual pass to the zoo for the whole family.

Contest runs from 25 of June to 25 of August.

The size of photos should not exceed A 4 size (standard format of print page), colour or black and white.  Make sure that your photos have either mats or frames, contain a label and explanatory note on the species presented in the photograph. 

You are welcome to:
• mail your pictures to the address: Moscow Zoo, Moscow 123242, B. Gruzinskaya 1. Photo exhibition “Focus on Predators”. 
• bring the photos in person to the Department of Creative Programs at the Moscow Zoo from 11am to 4 pm on weekdays (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), except Saturdays and Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Address: Moscow Zoo, Krasnaya Prenya 4A, forth floor.
